Swan Park graduated from School of Visual Arts. Since then, her career as an illustrator has grown in leaps and bounds. She is now a very influential figure in the international illustration world, whether it be magazines, books or advertising.
At the beginning of her career, she has had many solo and joint exhibitions, and many media interviews have covered the abundant power of expression and delicate sensibility of her work. For many years now, she has been working on a very important project - drawing the covers for the entire back catalog of legendary British author P. G. Wodehouse’s books. The books are currently being republished by Penguin UK Publishing, and it has been her distinct pleasure to take part in this legendary series. She has recently finished the 78th cover including other book covers. Among the many other books she had illustrated, she is also famous for “The Showgirl Princess,” Australian icon Kylie Minogue’s fairy tale-style image book for children. For this exciting project, Swan was responsible for all the interior illustrations as well as the cover.
In addition to illustrating for such diverse and influential works, Swan has also branched out into other areas. She taught Illustration at Shin Gu College in Korea, and she is now director of the Seoul Fine Arts Association and director/judge of the Korea Fashion Illustration Association.
